About — NOT A CANNED HAM

I believe in design simplicity. For over a two and half decades, I have been crafting designs and illustrations for individuals, businesses, and events with simplicity as my guide. This approach has yielded recognition from Communication Arts, How, The One Show, Graphis, and the LogoLounge book series.

Previously, I worked as a creative for Grant Design Collaborative, BrightHouse, BBDO, Stewart & Associates, and Brown-Forman as well as taught advanced trademarks and branding at the Creative Circus. I am currently a Creative Director for Rabbit Hole Spirits and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Louisville College of Business.

So you may wonder, why NOT A CANNED HAM? It's pretty simple. My name is Dac. Short for DaCosta. (It's a family name). Most folks misspell my name Dak. Totally harmless. But when I learned that Dak is a fully-cooked Danish canned ham, the name for my design studio emerged.
